It's not ideal for them to have no natural light. Their body clocks are sensitive to the rise and fall of light and temperature and this tells them when to moult and when to start breeding etc and even when to get up and go to bed. If you can't get any natural light in then you could use a daylight lamp for a certain number of hours a day?
