Have you tried rubbing some of their bedding onto your hands? It's a more familiar smell so they might trust you more therefore probably not biting your fingers off

- Also when I first got my hamster I would put my hand in the cage for like 10 seconds and then took my hand out, repeating this every day ( routine ) until the hamster approached it welcomely then putting treats on my hands for the hamster.
