Some hamsters can take longer than others to form a bond and may eventually start to enjoy cuddles more but others seem to prefer other kinds of interaction. One of my previous girls took three months efore she really trusted me enough to allow our taming efforts to make progress but once we got there, we had a lovely bond.

I've noticed both with babies I've bred as well as youngsters that I've got from other sources that sometimes they'll go through a lively spell and they're not as keen on cuddles until they get a bit older and calm down a bit.
