I tend to use traditional human names for my Chinese and many are inspired by names in enterainment so Cora was inspired by Lady Cora from Downton Abbey, Jack from Captain Jack Sparrow, Ben was named after Hawkeye from M*A*S*H (Benjamin Franklin Pierce) and John named after Downton Abbey's Valet, Mr John Bates.

I also have a roman theme with Nero (a winter white) and Juno (a chinese, whose actual pedigree name is Junco Vulcani). I had wanted to name my hamstery along this theme but the name I wanted had previously been used by another club member in the past and I didn't want to cause confusion.
