It depends what it is that's frozen I think. I used to freeze cork logs until I read on a reptile forum that it doesn't work and they need baking and most reptile owners just stick them in as they are. For the food bugs/moth eggs, a week in the freezer does the job. Not sure about mites - there are some bugs that survive freezing so baking does the job then.
