Yes we also noticed a herby smell at first but when taken out of the container I couldn't smell it - and now that it's been a while I can't smell it at all. She generally has bits of herbs or hay in her cage too so not sure if the smell would have bothered her. But she's going to the vet again tomorrow so 8 days after the initial mite treatment, and we looked at her last night and think it might have improved. The hair is still thin but it isn't really an obvious balding patch anymore so I'm fairly optimistic.
