I had a person on Etsy called EelOmen make it. I'm sure it was difficult since his coat always had three different colors of brown in it but the ones on his back didn't always seem to be in the same spot in all the pictures. That boys fur was truly stunning. I finally only teared up a little last night, so I guess I may he over my massive sobbing episodes? I don't know, but Danny Gokey's song I Will Not Say Goodbye just..resonates. I knew all along that I had one heck of a special soul in my life and losing him has been catastrophically devastating.
I'm working on his keepsake box where I'll be putting his hand and foot print clay piece in and put some toys that he really liked in there. I was saving a plaque I ordered for putting on his framed collage I got but I think I'll put it on the keepsake box instead. I've never gone all out on memorial stuff before but I don't regret it. Especially the felt figure. I've only had two hamsters before, but both times I got gentle no biters. I remember when we lost our family cat and I was sobbing and holding Rudy and kissing him and that boy seriously stood up and licked away my tears.
