Just wanted to clarify, in case anyone reads this in future re meds - that he is having 0.01ml of Metacam (the 1.5mg per ml dog Metacam), and 0.02ml of Baytril.

On the previous page I had put 0.3 and 0.2 - which is what the vet demonstrated on the syringe, but was 10 times too much. Anyway prescription on bottle was correct 0.02ml of Baytril and 0.03ml of Metacam (now adjusted down to 0.01ml which is correct for the strength and his size).

I noticed he didn't seem to have been using his food bowl recently- wasn't too worried as I scatter feed as well but I think he'll be happier being able to access the food bowl easier and he definitely needs access to his sand bath - he's always loved that.

The difficulty climbing does seem to have come on very quickly.
