Yes! They are very agile and awesome climbers. Their tail is prehensile and they use it to hold onto things.

Yes. Harvest mice are much smaller - only 5g, rather than 30-40g of a fancy mouse. Also they are less prone to cancer and respiratory issues. They are a little more temperamental to keep in groups than fancy mice though (well, girl fancy mice. Boy harvies are better than boy fancy mice).

I love having the babies! It's been fascinating to see how fast they developed. They were out of the nest, eyes open and climbing, allbeit a little wobbly, at 9 days old!
