My little man has been off to the vets today He hasn't seemed himself for a little while but I couldn't see anything wrong at all until he suddenly got a fairly large swelling under his chin which turns out to be an abscess, understandably he's been off his food (although still managing his muffin!) & has lost a few grams.
He's on antibiotics for now, fingers crossed they will do the trick otherwise he'll be needing surgery which I really hope we can avoid as he's really not that young any more, 2 yrs 5 months on the 14th, it's still hard not to think of him as my baby though!
The first dose seems to have gone down well with a little cauliflower cheese so here's hoping he'll get well now.
He was so good at the vets, a little reluctant to come out of his carrier when we got home but I'm not sure if he was stressed or just sleeping burrowed down in the substrate! All seems to be forgiven now though bless him
