If it's cold where you live, I would definitely put it down to that. Even though we have the heating on, my ham Bramwell has started not coming out of his cosy nest until late. I sat up till 11pm last night just to see him! They are very intelligent and know when were in the winter months, so prefer to stay in their warm beds for longer!
