Is it for a Syrian? You can't go wrong with Tiny Friends Harry Hamster - has everything in they need and is sugar free - and enough protein. You can supplement with the odd bit of fresh food - they really like this - a tiny bit of veg daily and the odd half a brazil or walnut nut eg.

Or as mentioned above, the Bunny Dream mix is good for Syrians too but is a bit low in protein - which is why Harry hamster is easier.

For dwarf hamsters Burgess dwarf hamster mix is good or the Bunny Dream mix again.
