Are you in the UK? If so there are a couple of good mixes available, all of which can only really be bought online. The lab blocks aren't necessary, probably unless your food has extremely low protein which shouldn't be the case. Animal protein (mealworms, shrimp, crickets) are a better and more natural. It would probably be easiest to add them in yourself and adjust according to the hamster's age.


Just in case you are in the UK: Bunny hamster mix from zooplus and rodipet Syrian mixes are good. Rodipet has it for both junior and senior hamsters. I've not personally tried the Syrian ones but have heard good things. There are other good mixes too but shipping is more expensive (£10 ish) so it depends on your budget.
