Hi guys. It's me again and today I have a strange but possibly incredible hamster story for you guys.
Early this morning I got a call from my sister. They had let their dogs outside to go do their morning business and soon the two were making a commotion by their outside waterbowl by constantly whining. My sister's husband decided to go investigate and what he found was incredibly strange. There was a little live hamster in their waterbowl! (empty, thankfully)

She phoned me about five minutes after, asking what she should do and so forth, whilst her husband was phoning the local petshops to hear which ones are open early so that he could get some food for the hamster.
I told my sister to get a box and shred some tissues, then to make sure that the little hamster has a bowl of water.
About half an hour later her husband came back with some hamster food, which the baby ate quite happily. He seemed to be very hungry

I also told her to put a smaller upside down box in the box with a hole cut in so that he could hide away if he wanted.
A few hours later, after having asked around the complex if anybody has lost their hamster (and with no claims whatsoever), she went to the petshop to get him a cage and a water bottle - just cheapie ones in case the hamster does get claimed sometime. He now has a little cage, a wheel, a waterbottle and a bowl. She's using a box as a den for him at the moment.

He seems to have no injuries at all on him, and the petshop identified that he is a male. He's settling in nicely and seems to have quite a friendly personality. He's also very tame for everything he's been through.
If he goes unclaimed, my sister will bring him through to me to take care of him, so I will need a name for the little guy as it seems as if nobody is looking for him. My sister has dubbed him Ham Solo for the time being, as she will only be able to bring him to me on Christmas (I might go through to them next weekend if I have a chance to get him earlier.)
Any name suggestions for this baby is welcome.
I would also like to know what type of hamster he is? He looks like a sapphire coloured Winter White but I could be wrong.
