When my Syrian was young he went through a phase of putting his poop in a big pile and also throwing his poop out the cage. Very hygienic.
Also I once handed him a piece of food, I guess he didn't like it because he went over to the side of the cage and threw it out. I gave the same piece of food back to him but he just threw it back out from what I remember.
