Coco, he can leave sand all over my chair any time he wants. The hamsters know who is in charge in this house, them!
Thankfully our vet is open 24 hours a day all year round so it is possible to see a vet, though if it's outwith normal working hours it is a lot more expensive for a consultation. I'm just glad we have a vet fund for such emergencies. They're very good though and will have a chat with you first to see if they think it is something that can wait until normal opening hours.

He's really very nosey. He even has a hammock now that he sits on top of so that he can nosey to his hearts content lol.
