So now he's doing something new ... in the past whenever I've given him a treat he's eaten it in front of me but now if its one of his favorite treats - like a baby spinach leaf, he'll run to his castle and hide out in it until he's finished eating it. If its a "B" grade treat to him, he'll still eat it in front of me. Last night I was a bit of a brat and waited until he was the furthest away from his castle as possible - 3 feet ... and then fed him his leaf. As I expected, he grabbed it and started running ... problem is that he stepped on it and ripped it so that all that was in his mouth was a little piece so he had to run back for it. But in his haste, he dropped it halfway and had to run back a second time. By now I was killing myself laughing ... Theodore, Theodore I said - there is no one here - nobody is going to take your leaf! its all yours .. so relax a bit. And so it goes!
