Argh! Good job I saw this post, have just gone in the other room and removed all the shredded kitchen roll from their cages!!

Jin - I can vouch for the Fitch bedding, it is really brilliant! I think it was cypher who recommended it to me on one of my threads, and I'm glad I ordered it!

My girls seem to love it and they instantly burrowed down into it when they first arrived! (Edited to add that I use Fitch as their main substrate in the entire cages, not just where they sleep).

I also still have half a bag of bedding left over from my Syrian hamster, it is like blue shredded dishcloths, would that be suitable as extra nesting or shall I just use toilet roll from now on?
