Hi Everyone,

Mummy hamster was rearranging the bedding in her little house, and while doing that 2 pups crawled out of the nest. 1 went back in the house and 1 crawled around the side of he house and to the back, between the house and plastic wall of the cage. The pups are 4-5 days old.

The mother is taking no notice of the lost pup. How long is it ok for it to be separated? Should I intervene. I've heard people sometimes put the separated pups back with a spoon that as the scent of the cage on it. Should I do this?

I obviously want to avoid getting involved as much as I can...but don't want it to die.
