Default Re: is megazorb still good for hammys?

I found about a year ago that the quality of Fitch had declined and the last bag I bought went into the bin because it was just so rough. About the same time, I discovered Megazorb at a local equine shop and have used that in most of my cages ever since. I have found it to be quite a soft substrate that holds up to tunnelling well and is quite cost effective as I find that we can go longer between clean outs than Fitch.

Some people have said that there can be a smell to it but that often depends on how it has been stored at the retailer. I often get mine from Millbry Hill and they’ve been pretty good.
