I’m not to sure about Pink light I think they should be ok but slightly more visible to a hamster than red would be.
I love using my red light to watch my hamsters as they get up to all sort of mischief and think that I can’t see them!

Certain colours in the light spectrum such as red is a colour that isn’t visible to a hamster (plus many other species of animals) therefore you can use red light at night to observe your hamster without disturbing their normal routine or causing them any stress.
