As far as I’m concerned flying saucers are an extra toy, not a replacement for an upright wheel. I think an upright wheel is a necessity.
The one flowerfairy mentioned is good, as are wodent wheels and silent runners. Silent spinners you might find too small and I’ve heard they don’t even spin properly anymore. 8-9 inches is a good diameter size.
