Excellent review. I think all cages have their niggles. I've found that when a cage has a large front opening door you hardly ever need to take the top bars off anyway
You can do most things through the large door. The accessories with cages are rubbish sometimes! I had the same water bottle and stainless steel dish with a savic cage and they were no good either. But bottles are a whole subject on their own lol!
The only cages I've had where substrate doesn't come out through the bars are the ones with 7mm bar spacing. Would have been nice if the Savic Plaza had had 7mm bar spacing but I guess you can't have everything! The shelf is a good size.
