We have had both Males and Females, the most laid back was Pip our female who was a complete Diva.
Forrest our first Hammy was a male and spent three days exploring inside the walls and floors of our house when he escaped, he would steer his ball around objects and worked out how to open his ball by ramming it into the wall until it was taped up, then he would wedge the ball some where and undo the lid from the inside....!
Ghost a current incumbent is a mix of the two, when he is out of his cage he is a runner and climber, he scoots up the stairs like a pro..!
