Thanks dreamtree, he's doing really well now, his ear & the skin around it is pretty much better, slightly pink still but looking better every day.
He is enjoying the salmon oil! I think he's got a bit bored with the herbal sand now the novelty has probably worn off but I'm leaving it in for now so he can use it if he wants to, an extra sand bath can't be a bad thing
