I'm so sorry that your friend made such hurtful jokes about tadpoles after your family's tadpoles just passed to the bridge recently. Sadly, some people don't feel that the loss of certain animals' lives should be mourned; your life is so much fuller since you have such a compassionate and loving heart. You are such a wonderful person for opening up your heart to all creatures and trying your best to make such a huge difference in their lives. It is also commendable that you are passing that great appreciation of all creatures' lives onto your stepson so he will always be able to see the beauty in all living things.
