Good to hear she's safe. Reading all the stories though just reminds me that external tubes are not a great idea! They are very common escape routes - likewise adding something on to a cage with a gap. Best to have one good sized cage (eg Hamster Heaven with tubes and penthouse removed!) that closes securely (or clip a peg on the door closure if it's a bit loose) and any tubes or toys inside the cage
