They would have a long walk back ha ha. About 5 miles across a valley and up a hill. Still wouldn't surprise me! I'm a bit confused that if toads live on dry land - how they lay eggs in the river without drowning!
The taddies had an unexpected tasty snack land in their tank - a mosquito got through the vents and is floating dead. Whether they can eat a whole mosquito or not I don't know. We shall see. I can see their little mouths open and close when they eat and they look funny hanging off rocks - they kind of suction themselves on with their mouths I think.
