Love your dogs! They look like miniature Schnautzers. Your area looks beautiful and interesting and bike riding round there sounds good! Have an urge to take up cycling myself after we've done it on holiday a couple of times recently - but I'd want an electric mountain bike due to various medical things, and they cost a fortune!
