BP ah yes, the temps and humidity can be a bit hard to manage at times. I do most of my biking and running in the late evening so as to avoid the sweltering heat. If any of you travel to the Southern US, you'll know the meaning of the "Southern Sun"

Today, I will share some of the geographical intrigues in our area! Most of my state is made up of pine, and marshlands.The soil is primarily clay and sand, with little rich soil. It's a very wet land, with numerous lakes, ponds, rivers, and marshes. The particular area of the state I live in, is quite urbanized, but a majority of the state is very backwoods. We have a lovely beach (emerald green waters) and huge mountains on the other side of the state. So if you love the classic "Southeastern" forests- this is the place for you.

A huge swamp about 20 miles from my house. I bike here quite often, and enjoy the beauty of it.
