It's a very individual thing, some people will want to get another very soon after one has gone to the bridge while others will wait for some time until they feel ready, most people do at some point get another ham after losing a much loved one I think we all know when the time is right for us but that may not be what would be right for others.
You're never replacing a hamster that has gone, your heart just grows big enough to love another one too!
