It must be very worrying but I don't think she can start a house fire - the way to prevent that is turn the electricity off at the mains. Although then of course you'd have no electricity. Would there actually be any wires under the floor? And if you think about it, you could get mice or rats which could do the same thing. I think just get a couple of smoke alarms for peace of mind and set the bucket trap. You may be lucky and she may come back. Many people have recaptured hamsters again either with a bucket trap or putting the cage near the place she went down (smells familiar) with the cage door open.
