Default Re: New Chinese Mum

I definitely think he feels too exposed in the cage. I can’t upload any photos of the cage, it says they’re too big and I don’t know how to resize them on my iPhone. The cage has both the platforms in and several tubes, boxes with holes either end, a sand bath and a wood bridge. Bridges up to the platforms too but he never goes up there for more than a quick peek. I’ve ordered some hammocks to hopefully make the platforms seem less exposed for him. He doesn’t use the saucer wheel that we have so I’ve just ordered a different wheel and hopefully he’ll use it as it’s more enclosed for him. He’s fantastic when out of the cage though. We can hold him and stroke him and he wanders around on us sniffing and exploring, but doesn’t run and hide like he does in the cage. He went to sleep on my daughters lap earlier so he must be feeling comfortable with us
