He is absolutely gorgeous! Some hamsters do grow quite big. A fully grown hamster can weigh anything from 125 g to 250g or even more. I would think he is more than a month old though. But he could still be only 6 weeks old and that size.

Our last Syrian grew very big within the first 3 weeks. He was about 6 weeks old when we got him. So it is possibly your hamster may be more like 2 months old. Either way. He is a lovely chunky boy. What does he weigh? I had no idea hamsters could be big and even asked our pet shop if they were sure he was a hamster! Lol.
