Wow I haven't been on here in ages! I've never been busier in my life so I've been having to divert my attention to my work and what little free time I have. I do miss spending time on the forum though. Art has taken over my life (I'm a very slow worker and my teacher likes to set everything as homework so we're a month ahead of the other class in terms of work).
I'll start with updates for Jasper, since this is his thread. When my dad went away in September, I looked after Jasper at my mum's and refused to take him back to my dad's (because he was planning on moving) so Jasper was living in the bigger blue cage I have (generic wire one from P@H). I told my dad I was going to spend all my birthday/pocket money on a new cage that was bigger. He was not happy and finally agreed to let me take the Ikea cage to my mum's, which is what Jasper is now living in.
My dad has also moved. It's an hour away in the car, and about 45 mins to my vet (which is why it wasn't ideal for Jasper to move there). The bigger blue cage is at my dad's too. My dad's girlfriend's daughter's hamster Russell currently lives in it (they refused to give him a bigger cage than a P@H starter cage for years) so I'm lending it to them. I can't bear to see Russell suffer so that's why. He's much happier now. This leaves Jasper without a cage at my dad's house and I'm not fond of moving a glass cage around so I'm very excited about the Savic Plaza hamster cage I've just ordered
. We're picking it up tomorrow from P@H! He's going to be able to stay with me at weekends now (I have enough toys etc to have two permanent set ups). I'm also hoping to get the Silent Runner for Jasper's 2nd birthday in April for that cage. I'm also going to look into getting some platforms and shelves in the new cage because it is quite tall. Jasper also hasn't showed any signs of aging so far, so that's good

The guinea pigs are doing well. Oreo is in excellent health and will be 7 at the end of May. Pemba will be 3 at the end of June. Pemba had his 1 year anniversary with me on 30th January.
All the dogs are healthy and happy as well. Hugo is being neutered next week I think, so fingers crossed everything goes well. Hermes is a labrador and so can't be neutered until he's much older (bigger dogs have to be older).
