In a cage that size the dig box would take up too much space, your ham needs to be able to dig & burrow over most of the cage area particularly in a cage that sort of size, large dig boxes are really only suitable in really large cages, if your cage was about 80x50 once you have a good sized house, a large wheel & just a few toys it will be pretty full anyway!
Substrate needs to be at least 15-20cm over the whole area.
