If you just clean where your hamster pees, by removing the wet substrate. You won’t use as much substrate.
Full cleans can cause your hamster stress. Hamster poop is normally dry so can be left a bit.
If you have to remove any of their food hoard, due to pee etc put some fresh food back in it’s place.
Too much cleaning can remove the hamster scent and make them stressed.
