They seem to occur in males a lot less frequently than in females which is why I was surprised to see one on the neck of one of my boys. Thankfully his hasn't seemed to be as bad as Jessie's usually are and Victoria's was quite a nasty one too. I don't think she'll ever get her perfect fur back.

Oh Juno is brave for such a tiny hamster and I think she's been learning all she can from Jess and Vicky. Who'd have thought that this is the same girl who didn't understant that the most important part of begging for seeds is waiting for them rather than running off when the seed approaches.
