I'd agree with what has been said above. Over time, they'll get used to loud and random noises like that. I know my hamsters used to flip over the sound of a vacuum, but now they won't even budge from their sleep. I wouldn't stress yourself over this so much. Sorry you're in this situation. For now it may be best to hold off on newer hamsters to avoid this stress, but if you have some currently, just try to work around this. Best wishes
