Default fire alarms and hamsters

I live in a building where roughly every 3 months someone sets the fire alarm of. There has never even been an actual fire and stupidly the fire brigade can't put the alarm off which means the very loud alarm can go on for about an hour! I remove my hamsters from the building when this happens. I have just got a russian dwarf hamster and I am especially worried about the distress caused to him so have decided to rehome him. I have also decided that I just cannot have another pet while I live here due to this stupid situation I've been put in. I thought it had ended as everything had been quiet for a good period of time but idiots never go away. It's a shame because my hamsters have all been rescued and Have big cages and good food and attention but I just am forced to live in a home unsuitable for a pet and in some ways unsuitable for people. I don't like to think what distress my hamsters could suffer if I am out and can't remove them.
