Meet Ernie!
So my laptop broke and i haven't been able to onto hamster central for a while. Sadly in the time I've been absent, on August 29th 2017 Pumpkin passed away at 11 months old. But this ins't a memorial post, this is a meet post so that means, there is a new resident living in pumpkins old cage. So for the first time in almost a year, i do have a Syrian again! Now since i got guinea pigs i agreed that a Syrian would be my last hamster until I move out. (Which is quite a few years away) So i kinda had my heart set on an agouti male Syrian because my first hamster was a female agouti. Once i felt ready for another hamster i checked the website that pets at home uses to show what hamsters are up for adoption in your local store. I checked and they had 2 hamsters, a dwarf and a female hamster (Which at the time i didn't know the species of) and then the day after i went into pets at home (Which happened to be near pc world so i got a laptop and a hamster). I went in and realised they hadn't updated the website and there were 2 syrains (And like 5 dwarfs) up for adoption. I looked into the tiny tank and saw a Male agouti Syrian hamster. Sadly he is from a rodent mill (Because he was up for sale but then put up for adoption when he didn't sell). He has been through 4 names so far XD. His name given by pets at home was Siri i then named him Quinoa. Then i decided Quinoa didn't fit so i chose Snickers but it still didn't fit so i decided on Ernie. His full name is Ernest the great because hes just so great. He lives in an IKEA samla bin with an 11" wheel. He loves his wheel and seems pretty dosile. I love himmm
