I'm sorry that your cat is now having a difficult time with men. Maybe she has a memory from her past of a man harming or scaring her that has now just resurfaced or been triggered for some unknown reason. I would just keep on being comforting and patient with her and give her plenty of space so she feels less threatened and territorial. Hopefully, she will regain her trust of men and will feel comfortable and accepting of them again. Fingers crossed! I'm sure that it must be extra hard for your grandpa, too. How sad that things have changed in this way, but I will be praying that it will change back again.
