Default Re: Miss you, Crumble.

Aww, Crumble peeking out from behind the cage bars with her tiny paws grasping on the side of the cage base was just so precious and sweet. It looked like he wanted to come out for a nice playtime with you. What a loving picture!

Turrican, don't feel there is a deadline to meet on ending grief. You deserve and are entitled to let yourself honestly feel and express all that is in your heart. It is understandable that you will always have those up and down moments where those feelings come rushing back and you feel the longing for those you love who have passed. Love is the greatest feeling ever, and it can give you the most joy as well as the most sadness. You loved Crumble full-heartedly, and it takes time to heal. With each passing day, your feelings will slowly begin to feel less raw but it is a slow and drawn out process. Even years later, you will have those flooding emotions of happiness and sorrow coming back during an important anniversary of your ham, seeing a special toy, or reminiscing a memory. We at HC totally understand your emotions and what you are going through. Sadly, our hammies never live as long as we would want, but they live full and happy lives with the time they are given. We are always here for you to comfort you in your grief so feel free to share your memories and pictures of Crumble whenever you feel up to it. We are all friends who care for one another and each other's pets. Take each day one at a time and don't rush yourself. Take care and huge hugs to you, Turrican. xxx
