Sadly, that silence can be deafening and make the loss of Joey all the more real. He was so cute and the absence of the routine of him being up and about in his cage must be truly hard. Hopefully, things will get easier as time passes. You will still have your ups and downs emotionally, but that is natural and expected. May time heal your broken heart, and may the memories of him allow you to focus on the good times and eventually put smiles on your face. Hugs to you, Barley! xxx
