Aw, poor Ralph. They do seem to get a bit skinny with old age. For soft food, I think you can soak science selective pellets. They are a "complete" nugget type food and I think soaking them in water makes them a bit easier for them. Or you could try breaking up the big pieces if he's really struggling.
