They're all pretty particular about their cages and can get quite upset about their special things. It's for that reason that I don't tend to change much in their cages and each hamster will usually only have one toy that they're happy to get swapped out every so often.
It's a good thing that I'm not really worried about doing themed cages, I think they'd hate me for that.
