I have a senior rodent wheel that I got when I had Cleo - so bigger than you'd probably get for Matthew and personally, I find it a pain if tou just need to wipe down. I'd have it for a non-wheel-peeing Syrian but I wouldn't use it for Chinesey Lewis who uses his wheel like a litter tray. As a wheel I really like it. It's easy to oil the spindle when it's taken apart. There's a pin to hold the spindle in place and the front on and that can be a fiddle to get off. That means you can take the front off and the track then comes out too. So giving it a full clean is fine as you can easily get to all the bits but spot cleaning is a right pain.
