I don't think it would be a very good idea.It would be potentially irritating(not necessarily toxic),so it would be best to avoid pure citrus products as much as possible(citric acid in very small amounts as a preservative is generally okay though for treats etc,but it isn't strictly citrus derived and is found naturally in many commonly fed vegetables and fruits).
