Do you have a metal bottle holder?These are quite dangerous for hamsters as with climbing they can lead to cut foots and even worse.If not,another thing that can cause injury would be hay,especially when it's already quite dry and rough.

A lot of human products(and even animal products)have harsh chemicals or otherwise irritating substances(such as propylene glycol,alcohol including isopropyl substances which are very drying and will ultimately make skin irritation worse and give very poor overall skin health with continued use,etc).
