Not to be negative but the blood had to come from somewhere? It may happen again, but it could be that she has an internal tumor that in causing the bleeding.

I had a Russian female that had a tumor on her uterus who bled from time to time. But there really isn't anything you can do except quality of life. My hamster lived a long time after that tumor was discovered.

The vet said she wouldn't survive a surgery. I'm sure Fairy may not survive a surgery either at this point in her life, if even that is what the problem is?
